A Better Berrien
As a veteran business lawyer with a record of volunteer service in our community, Janet brings a fresh energy to the 9th District and a practical approach to our shared challenges. She will work to promote innovation, attract responsible economic development, and support the infrastructure needed for a sustainable future, including basic transportation to connect our communities.
Janet will engage local employers, as well as government and civic organizations, to seek workable solutions for attainable housing so that our neighbors who work here can also live here.
Janet appreciates how fortunate we are to live in this beautiful area of Southwest Michigan. She is committed to protecting our magnificent lakefront and natural resources, including through the nourishment and stabilization of the Lake Michigan shoreline.
Her career as a business lawyer has taught Janet that problem solving requires active commitment, an open mind and a willingness to listen to different points of view. Janet will show up for you, she will listen and she will work for a better Berrien.
